Like Gold In The Air of Summer
Yesterday afternoon I went to lunch with Jessica Hilzey. We went to a little cafe and sat outside eating and talking for quite a while before we headed off to go thrifting. I picked up a few cute things, a tea box, shorts, and a really cozy sweater -- overall it was a successful venture.
After we left the thrift store we started driving into the country on a whim to see if we could find a beautiful little place to explore and maybe get some photos in the process. We parked the car and started walking down this trail and stumbled upon the lovliest area I'd ever seen. We shot over 300 photos, and I was so happy with all of them. Jessica was so fun to take pictures of, she had me laughing the whole time.
After we left there we went down by a bridge covered in graffiti and a set of train tracks. We shot some stuff down there before heading back to the car. On the way out of the town we were in we spotted an ice cream parlor and both got a kiddie cone for the road. Overall, it was just a fantastic day.

I Got Lost Coming Home, and Found Us A Carnival
I drove home from Alex's house Thursday night and ended up on a strange high way that took me down near the mall on the other side of town. I spotted a ferris wheel in the distance and we went back with Brittany and Chris the next day. I love carnivals, they make me feel like I did when I was young. There was even a gravitron ride like the one in Candy. We rode it and he smiled every time he looked at me.

We Turn The Wheel To Which Way We Feel
The weather has been beautiful here these past few days, I have been spending as much time as I can outside when I'm not working. My days off are becoming scarce but I like being busy and I've still been able to make time for the things I like. Besides I don't think I'll mind having a little extra money saved up. For what? I don't quite know yet, but I'd like to think that I'll be ready the moment I do.
I took a drive last night with Brittany and Chris to see Beach House play at the Crofoot in Pontiac. I made a cd for the road and we had the windows down the whole way there. The concert it's self was incredible, definitely one of the best I've attended. We danced the whole time, and it's safe to say we enjoyed ourselves. I got a couple of pictures before the show, but they wouldn't allow me to bring my camera inside so I'm sad to say that I can't show you any pictures of just how great it really was.
Brittany and Chris are great, they are adorable and so fun to take 3 hour car rides with.
As for me, I just want you to know that I've been really happy lately. The sun is out, I'll turn the radio up, and drive away with the windows down.
